Bottle check

Is Your MemoHoney Bottle Real? A Lot Number and Label Check You Can Do Today

Quick answer

Check five things: an intact safety seal, any lot code on the base, the front band reading MemoHoney and Advanced Memory Support, seven Supplement Facts lines with amounts and no honey, and a distributor line naming Instituto Experience of Ogden, Utah. The lot code is a tracking number, not a lab result.

At a glance

Key facts

  • Real label: seven Supplement Facts lines, each with an amount, and no honey. 30 vegetable capsules per bottle.
  • Distributor line: Instituto Experience, PO Box 12730, Ogden, UT 84404, +1 (507) 448-8190, [email protected].
  • Seller reference codes: lot MEM-26/ME-7725 and CoA reference MEM-7725-26-ME. They are not lab proof.
  • A lot code and best-before date sit on the base, if the bottle prints them. Not every bottle does.
  • Label rule: do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing.
  • Not published: the factory, any testing lab, a certificate of analysis document and any study of the formula.

The question

What does "real or fake" mean for a supplement bottle?

It can mean three different things. Take them one at a time.

  • Is it the product I meant to buy? Another item may share the name.
  • Is it intact and unopened? A torn seal changes the answer.
  • Was it tested, and by whom? That needs records, and none have been published.

A bottle check can settle the first two. It cannot settle the third. Be honest with yourself about that limit. A label that matches proves you hold the product described on this site. It does not prove purity.

Do the check on the day the parcel arrives, before you break the seal. With a 3 or 6 bottle pack, repeat it for each bottle, not only the first.

Five minutes

What are the five quick looks at a new MemoHoney bottle?

  1. The seal

Look under the cap before you twist it. The caution panel rules out any bottle whose safety seal is damaged or missing.

  2. The base

Turn the bottle over. If the bottle prints a lot code or a best-before date, it sits here. Copy it next to your order ID.

  3. The front band

You should see the MemoHoney wordmark, "Advanced Memory Support*", three icons (Focus, Clarity, Energy), "30 capsules" and "Dietary Supplement".

  4. The panel

Count the Supplement Facts lines. Seven lines, each with its own amount per capsule. No blend and no honey.

  5. The side panel

The distributor should be Instituto Experience, with a PO box in Ogden, Utah.

Last, look at the capsule itself. The label describes a plant-based hypromellose capsule, one per serving, thirty to a bottle. Count only if something else looks off.

Tick each line

Which seven lines should your Supplement Facts panel show?

Hold your bottle beside this list. The serving size is one capsule, and a bottle holds 30 servings.

Below the box sits the standard FDA statement. It says the claims were not evaluated by the FDA and that the product is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.

Reference codes

What do the lot code and the CoA reference prove?

Less than people hope. The seller gave us a lot reference, MEM-26/ME-7725, and a CoA reference, MEM-7725-26-ME. A seller can use them to find a batch record. They are not the record.

Normally, a certificate of analysis is a lab report: tests run, limits and results for one batch. We hold only a number. Compare it to a receipt number. It points to a file and tells you nothing about what the file says.

No lab, no test result and no CoA document have been published. So treat a lot code as a matching tool, not as proof of quality. Only the order desk can link a code to a shipment. Phone +1 (302) 200-3480, quote your order ID, and read out the code from the base.

A different run may carry a different code. Also, a missing code is not a sign of fraud on its own. Not every bottle prints one.

If it does not match

What should you do when something on the bottle looks wrong?

Use the rule "different until proven the same". Then act on what you see.

  • Honey, honey powder or royal jelly is listed. This is not the seven-line capsule. Do not take it, and call the order desk.
  • More than seven ingredient lines. The formula is different, whatever the name says. Stop and call.
  • One "proprietary blend" total instead of separate amounts. This panel prints every amount, so a blend means another product.
  • A different distributor, or none. Photograph the panel before you call.
  • Tablets, powder, or far fewer than 30 capsules. That is not the bottle the label describes. Photograph it and call.
  • No code on the base. Mention it on the call, but do not panic. It is not proof of a problem.

Remember that a name is not a formula. Other products carry "Memo" names and honey themes, and a lookalike box can hold something else entirely.

Seal problems

What should you do if the safety seal is torn or missing?

  1. Keep the bottle shut

Do not open it to peek. A bottle that is damaged but still closed is simpler to send back.

  2. Photograph it twice

One picture of the seal, one of the base. Good photos save you a second phone call.

  3. Ring the order desk

Dial +1 (302) 200-3480 with your order ID. Ask whether the desk wants the bottle returned or a photo will do.

  4. Hold on to the packaging

Keep the outer box and the packing slip until the matter is settled.

The refund window is 60 days from the order date, so speak up early. If you do mail anything back, use the New York returns address with a tracked service. Postage is your cost.

The limits

What can a bottle check not tell you?

It cannot tell you who makes the capsule. The label says made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients, and names no plant. It cannot tell you whether a lab tests each lot, who audits the GMP badge, or who the "doctor" behind any doctor badge might be. None of these are named.

It also cannot tell you that the capsule helps memory. No study of the formula has been published. FDA registration of a facility is not FDA approval, and supplements are not approved by the FDA before sale (FDA, Approval myths).

If you want more, put three questions to the distributor in writing: which facility, which lab, and can I see the CoA for my lot? A seller with good records can answer each.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is MemoHoney real or fake?

A bottle is the product described here if it shows seven Supplement Facts lines with amounts, no honey, 30 capsules and Instituto Experience of Ogden, Utah as distributor. Anything else is a different product.

Can I look up a MemoHoney lot number online?

We know of no public lookup. The order desk, at +1 (302) 200-3480, can link a code to your shipment if you quote your order ID.

Do all MemoHoney bottles share one lot number?

Not necessarily. MEM-26/ME-7725 is the reference lot the seller gave us. A bottle from a later run may show another code, and the desk can say which lot went out with your order.

Is a bottle with no base code a fake?

Not by that fact alone, since not every bottle prints codes. Check the seal, the seven panel lines and the distributor, and ask the order desk if you remain unsure.

My bottle lists honey. What now?

Treat it as a different product. The panel described here has seven lines and no honey. Do not take it, photograph the panel and call the order desk.

How many capsules does a sealed bottle hold?

Thirty vegetable capsules, one per serving. At the label's one-a-day directions that is a 30-day supply.

Bottom line

Our view

A real-or-fake check is mostly a reading exercise, and anyone can do it in five minutes. The label is clear, and that is a point in the product's favor. Use it.

But keep the limits in view. A matching label is not a lab result. We still have no named factory, lab or certificate. If those matter to you, ask the distributor and expect a written answer. And before the first capsule, take the label caution seriously. See a physician first if you are under 18, pregnant or nursing, or have a medical condition.

Please note

MemoHoney is a dietary supplement. It is not FDA approved, and no supplement is. It is not a drug and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. The statements on the bottle have not been evaluated by the FDA. If you have a medical condition, take medicine, or worry about your memory, talk to a doctor first.
